5 minutes to un-install Internet Explorer 7
3 weeks ago, I accidentially install the IE7 into my notebook. I found out it is very unstable and it tends to hang my notebook. After calling for help here and there, iIt took me about 4 hours before I managed to uninstall it. It is because I need IE broswer working before I can renew my MacAfee anti-virus. I even called up MacAfee customer service support to ask for help. Finally, it give me a solution for that.
However, lately I visited Shoemoney’s site and read about a post “How To Remove/Uninstall Internet Explorer 7“, it is only take about 5-10 minutes to uninstall it. So, I decided to take his quote and share with you. If you have similar problem, you can take this as a tutorial guide to uninstall your IE7.
fun fun fun I just spent the last 30 mins trying to figure out how to uninstall internet explorer 7 from my pc after finding out its incompatable with the few applications I even keep windows around for.
If you try to do it just by going to add/remove software you wont find it. Here is how you have to do it:
1. Go to Control Panel
2. Click Add or Remove Programs
3. Click Show Updates checkbox
4. Click whatever version of IE7 you have. For example “Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 Previewâ€
5. Click the Change/Remove button

Funny, that was what I thought when reading this post. At least two of the suggestions I read for some of the problem I have in WordPress asked me to get rid of my IE 6 and replaced it with IE 7. Thanks goodness I haven’t done that before I found your posting.
