Handicapped Blogger Need Help!

** This blog post is wrote exclusive for Handicapped Malaysians **

Recently I came across the news on handicapped / physical challenged blogger, Mohd Badruzamani from Alang, Galadriel & Mohd Sufian’s blog.

En. Mohd Badruzamani is seeking help from Malaysians. This donation is to support his medical fees. Below is the quote I got from his blog (in Malay Language).

I think it is good we can help our Malaysian blogger here, donate him some money for his medical fee. You can decide how much you intend to help, the amount of money you contribute is to show we as Malaysians, with a caring heart, helping people who are in time of needed. Please visit his blog for more info on how to extend your help.

However, I want to encourage En Mohd Badruzamani and many others look into this news taken from NST. It’s about a success story of a physically challenged businessman from Kampung Gajah, Perak. If you are handicapped by him, this is some of the story can inspired one as long as you are determine on what we are doing, you will be succeed in one day.

Zaharul Lai Alang Lateh had a higher mountain to climb than most. Born without a right leg, and with a deformed left hand, Zaharul was not only poor, he had to battle society’s prejudices against the disabled.

Today, the 48-year-old father of four is a successful businessman, dealing with motor vehicle maintenance and spare parts, agricultural machinery trading, farming and real estate.

He is a “Class F” (small scale) government maintenance contractor. He owns workshops in Kampung Baru, Ulu Yam, Selangor, and in his hometown, Kampung Gajah in Perak, where he is the Umno branch deputy chairman.

Not enough inspiration? Watch this video clip “Miracle Man” who was once in danger of his life and slept on the hospital bed. Even the doctors were to give him up. But he determined to be able to wake up and walk again. You can do it! Trust yourself and be determined!

By the way, if you have any friends who are like many of us, don’t you go and dig out his story on how the incident happened. Instead of that, you should care for them and ask questions like “How May I Help You?” instead of “Why This Happened To You?” or “How This Happened To You?”

By doing that you are not helping but hurt him further. I can feel how this “special group” of people felt as I am belonging to this group of people. Don’t trust me? See my membership card from welfare department (with a handsome photo J).

I am proud of being part of this “special group”.

Why?

It’s simply I work my way out to earn for living. I don’t just sit there and moaning why this happened to me. I learn how to wake up from sad and grow stronger daily. To people who are physically handicapped, you are not alone in your journey, just that you haven’t met anyone like you to encourage each other yet.

If you are my blog reader and would like to encourage the “special group” of people, kindly leave your comment here.

    Hi Badruzamani,

As mentioned in the post, I think we should encourage each other especially people from the same group. You were once haven’t found bloggers who can are same like you but now you have.

I hope my little efforts here will inspire many other “special bloggers” as well.
