Hey Steven, please explain how some blogs with Alexa ranking from 500,000 to 2,000,000 can have a Google PageRank from P2 to 4?

And why some blogs with Alexa ranking under 300,000 are still having 0 in their PR?

Is it because of links? And where do their inbound links come from? Via link farms?

    Hey Mark,

Alexa doesn’t relate to PR, you might have low alexa but high PR or the other way around. It all depends on how well and persistance you market your site.

Alexa is based your traffic and PR is basically based on links….although there is actually more to both of this thing.

For me I wouldn’t not care much onboth of this. just keep on the marketing stuff and i’m sure it will be rewarding in the end..

    Hi Kevin,

Thank for that answer, I was about th reply to Mark.

Mark, to give you more info here about Alexa & PR:

Alexa: Is a ranking statistic based on how much traffic visit your website and it is visitors driven statistic. You can have good contents but you don’t have many visitors to your site, your alexa ranking will low.

PR: Basically is a contents driven statistic report shows how rich contents you have in your website. Again, you might have very high traffic come to your website but doesn’t mean you will have high PR. Another factors is numbers of links from other website to your site(s) can also determine your PR.

I personally would like to know more about working a list. Some say they do better by just offer after offer, others say to build a relationship. So much conflicting advice.

    To Ron,

Personally, both of that is actually the most important thing that you can do…giving out offers, free stuff…and building up relationship, nothing much to be say tho…you’ll need them all.. ;)
    regards,
    KeVin

    Hi Ron,

It is very simple, just put your shoe on someone who receive your sales speech, how would you like this people treat you? At the end of the day, it is about customer relationship and build rapport with them. Nobody like to buy from strangers but friends. If you are coming from this point of view, you will know what is the limit you can sell to your customers. Online & offline business are the same after all.
